The Financial Counselor is responsible for communicating information about available financial resources for medical costs to patients.
Offers support and assistance in accessing the available resources including (but not limited to) assisting patients in completing forms and financial statements, and detailed review of patient's financial information.
Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or GED.
Education necessary to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
Education equivalent to demonstrate working knowledge of business principles, especially accounting concepts.
Experience:
Two years' experience working with the public in a healthcare setting.
