Purpose:
The Maintenance Manager I is responsible for electrical, mechanical and specialized maintenance, engineering and general plant services at a small cement plant.
Major Duties/
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in administering Holcim safety, health, and environmental policies
Responsible for electrical, mechanical, and specialized maintenance, engineering, and general plant services
Provide leadership, guidance, and direction for the maintenance organization in a manner consistent with company values, and ensure alignment with plant and company goals
Responsible for training, development and involvement of maintenance personnel within all areas of the plant
Plan major maintenance projects and develop capital investment recommendations for the plant
Develop maintenance budget and be accountable for results based on defined Key Performance Indicators
Use Holcim systems to optimize overall equipment effectiveness at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance
Support, demonstrate and facilitate the concepts of continuous learning and continuous improvement in a values based, high performance organization
Determine appropriate staffing and skill levels for the area
Use Holcim tools and standards to implement a reliability-centered maintenance program
Effectively use SAP and Holcim MaC tools and procedures
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education Preferred: Bachelor's/University Degree
Preferred field of study: Engineering or related field
Work
Experience: 10-15 years
Computer Skills: Knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, Power Point and Auto CAD
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Required:
Minimum 5 years of combined management level and cement industry experience in a supervisory/managerial role
Knowledge of maintenance planning and systems implementation
Effective leadership, delegation, coaching and interpersonal skills; trustworthy and trusting of others
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrate good problem solving skills and make sound decisions based on available information
Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities
Able to facilitate the collaboration of people in all departments (production, quarry, quality, safety, environmental, distribution)
